It's almost a relief to taste a Godard that doesn't search my mind, body and soul when I taste it! Even so, more density, concentration and reverberation than the average BV. I'm not sure Godard does average... Candied violets, kohl, saskatoon and fruit that seems to blow on purple-velvet trumpets (surely there is such a thing?). Fresh and long and silky. As I said, far from average.

Our Cuvée

The Mee Godard Beaujolais Villages cuvée is a red wine that embodies the quintessence of the Beaujolais terroir. Mainly made from the Gamay grape variety, this wine seduces with its bright ruby red color and its delicate fruity and floral aromas. On the palate, it offers beautiful freshness, supple tannins and a lively finish, which makes it a perfectly balanced and accessible wine.
